This concert features a juxtaposition of New Zealand music and the ever popular Vivaldi Gloria. A new work "Orpheus" from Deputy Music Director David Hamilton will begin this free concert and was written to mark Haydn's 200th anniversary. Helen Fisher's evocative work for flute and choir will feature our music director Uwe Grodd as solo flautist. The concert finishes with Vivaldi's Gloria, one of the most popular choral works of all time, full of infectious rhythms, beautiful melodies and stirring choruses.

 

This FREE CONCERT provides you with a wonderful opportunity to introduce family and friends to Auckland Choral and we look forward to welcoming them.
