The choir will call 'mua mua mua' -- let's begin, let's begin, let's begin -- the words which are used in traditional Samoan singing to introduce a set of songs. This symbolises the beginning of all the 'songs' Auckland Choral will sing in 2010. A wonderful, varied one-hour FREE concert follows with excerpts from Brahms' Requiem, Bach's B minor Mass and even a sing-along ?Hallelujah? from the Messiah. Concert highlights include Dean Sky Lucas, Australia's finest counter-tenor, David Hamilton's Dance Song To The Creator, and Bach's sparkling Brandenburg Concerto No. 4.
